History

Kwanzaa was created in 1966. Starting on the day after Christmas, Kwanzaa emphases family values, community responsibility and self - improvement. It celebrates African American heritage and culture for an entire week.

History

All good things begin with an idea. Dr. Maulana Karenga created the holiday in 1966 and the week - long celebration has spread across all of America. People gather and share dance music meals speakers and lectures. Now here is a game specifically designed to join that celebration.

Inspiration

From that idea, !XO - The Kwanzaa Game began. The colors designs and board squares recognize positive role models, personal life talents, and historical aspects of African American culture and people. Laughter and learning are combined in !XO the Kwanzaa Game. Enjoy!
